Peshawar: Haji Hafiz Gul Bahadur has directed Hakimullah Mahsud leader of banned Tehrik-e-Taliban to quit Pakistan’s northwest tribal region of North Waziristan with immediate effect.
Hafiz Bahadar, an active commander in North Waziristan, has also decided not to attack the Pakistan Army and security forces. He also announced to support the Pakistan Army in the war against terrorism.
He asked his aides in the tribal region neighbouring Afghan border not to target Pakistani security forces and join hands with the Pak-Army in its operation against militants and foreign agents.
Mehsud has decided to stop his set-up from North Waziristan. There are certain information circulating rounds that Mehsud has been shifted to Orakzai Agency.
Talks have been continuing for the last several months between Hafiz Bahadar and tribal elders of the region and several jirgas were also held with the focus on the point that people from Pakistan should not fight with Pakistan army which is engaged in fight against terrorists.
