USA: For people who are using Google+ there is some important information that they would surely find interesting: over 75% of the users are males.
According to socialstatistics which is a third party site has found from a study that 86.8% of the users are males. While another such site named FindPeopleonPlus has put the percentage of males as being 73.7 %.
FindPeopleonPlus also discovered that 95 percent of the google+ users “looking for love” are male. Also majority of the people which means the many million users do not specify their relationship status. Only 25,000 have specified themselves as being single while 19,000 said they were married and 12,000 said they were in a relationship.
Google it is reported will soon be removing the option that requires users to state their gender. Thus such estimates are expected to become less accurate over time.
An analyst Paul Allen who is the founder of Ancestry.com Google plus is ready to hit 20 million users by this weekend and he has estimated that the current user base of Google plus has surpassed the 10 million mark
“The size of the user base has increased by 350% in just 6 days”, says Allen.
