Islamabad: All the issues been between Pakistan Peoples’ Party and Muttahida Qaumi Movement have been finalized, and MQM would soon join PPP-led government, official sources said late on Friday.
But MQM sources said that talks between PPP and MQM were in progress, and no decision has yet been taken to join the government back.
Government sources said that telephonic talks between President Asif Ali Zardari and MQM Chief Altaf Husain were proved turning point, and in the first phase recently resigned governor Sindh would take the charge of governorship.
The sources said that other demands of MQM have also been accepted.
Meanwhile, MQM leader, Farooq Sattar refused all reports to rejoin the government back. He also said the Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan was not taking the charge of governorship. He said that MQM want to play his due role by sitting in opposition.
