Islamabad: Pakistan’s former military ruler Gen. (Retd) Pervez Musharraf has over 80 million PKR in banks and a farmhouse, authorities have informed a court which had declared the ex-president a proclaimed offender.
The Federal Investigation Agency ( FIA) informed an anti-terrorism court that Musharraf, who was declared a proclaimed offender in the assassination case of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto, has over Rs 8o million in various bank accounts and owns a farmhouse, Express Tribune reported on Sunday.
Musharraf owns the farmhouse of five-acre in Chak Shahzad, the report said.
Earlier this year, the trial court had declared the former Pakistani president a proclaimed offender as he refused to appear before the court after it issued an arrest warrant against him in the controversial assassination of Bhutto on December 27, 2007.
The report said Musharraf has 15 banks accounts, details of which were provided by the State Bank of Pakistan.
