Karachi: Muttahida Qaumi Movement has decided to move the court against restoration of commissionerate system.
MQM’s Rabita (Coordination) Committee held a meeting at the same time in Karachi and London to discuss the future’s prospect of the issue.
Farooq Sattar, Deputy Convener MQM, after the meeting addressed a press conference and said that the party had decided to move the court against the government decision.
He said MQM termed it the worst kind of dictatorship, as it would create more distance between the people and their representatives.
Sattar declared the system to be a conspiracy to divide the province of Sindh.
MQM will launch a people contact campaign from tomorrow (Monday) on the issue, Sattar added.
