Lahore: Referring the proposed hike in gas prices, PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif said on Thursday that the government was not sincere to resolve problems of a common man.
After approving the colour of Punjab government’s proposed taxi scheme, Nawaz Sharif said that central government failed in its economic reforms while a common man was the victim of government policies.
He told reporters that new cab scheme would help to overcome unemployment in the province as Punjab government would provide twenty thousand taxies to jobless graduates at easy installments.
Nawaz said he wished to start this beneficial scheme for the whole country as he did in his regime. He said this scheme would help the financial condition of the province as it would boost the car industry and government would gain benefit by collecting taxes from this scheme.
He said taxi scheme was the need of time as it would provide best and low cast services to people and would mean of income for jobless youth. He said public sector institutions were facing deficit which was failure of the government added that if this deficits could control there would be no need of foreign aid.
He said people were suffering with the worst power load shedding which could be reduce to 30 percent if government take serious actions.
Responding question regarding Manmohan Singh statement, former prime minister said that the assertion of India Premier was wrong.
