Peshawar: Two people were killed and 13 others sustained injures in a blast in Pakistan’s northern province of Khyber Pakhtoonkhawa late on Thursday, police sources said.
According to local police sources, the blast was occurred near Shoba Chowk of Khyber Bazaar, Peshawar, The News Tribe correspondent reported from Peshawar.
The blast exploded in a vehicle parked near to Shoba Chowk of Khyber Bazaar. The explosion was occurred in the gas cylinder of the vehicle, police sources said.
The victims were rushed to Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar.
Local police rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area. However, bomb disposal squad of Peshawar police has started collecting evidences from the spot.
It is pertinent to mention here that, Khyber Bazaar remain full with public late in the evening but fortunately, at the time of the blast most of the people including shop keeper and general public went to perform prayer.
