Karachi: Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Monday said that the country’s intelligence agencies detected and let down several terrorist activities.
“1100 cases of varied nature of terrorist activities across the country were detected during the last year, said Rehman Malik.
“We are in a state of war against terrorists, miscreants and militants,” he said while talking to media persons after a meeting with the Ulema at National Crisis Management Cell (NCMC).
Malik said that our intelligence agencies including ISI, IB and MI played a very positive role and thwarted several cases of acts of terrorism.
“Our Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) would not take any chances as we are already facing very severe crisis,” Malik pointed out and added that there was need for greater unity among the masses to thwart any action by miscreants.
