Karachi: Pakistan Naval Chief Admiral Noman Bashir denied any attack from Somali pirates at PNS Babar.
He said no one fired at PNS Babar and if someone hared fire then such kind of fire were restored to clear the way.
Earlier renowned Pakistani human rights activist Ansar Barni told Pakistani media that Somali pirates attacked Pak-Navy ship providing a cover to M.V Swiss carrying recently released hostages.
He said Somali pirates attacked PNS Babar with heavy weapons. But eight commandos of Pakistan Navy offered severe resistance to the pirates and forced them back. Somali pirates fired PNS Babar with Machine guns, Ansar Burni said.
Ansar Barni said all the commandos at PNS Babar were remained unhurt.
He said any attack at PNS Babar from where it is passing through now was impossible because small boats were patrolled there to save ships.
