Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Thursday rejected the commission constituted by the government without consulting the opposition and decided to give tough time to the government.
The PML-N parliamentary party which is in session here with Nawaz Sharif in the chair, decided to lodge ‘strong’ protest during the budget session of the National Assembly over the issue.
Addressing the meeting Nawaz Sharif said in the unanimous resolution it was decided that the commission would be constituted after consultation between the prime minister and Opposition leader. Instead of consulting the opposition, the government unilaterally announced the commission, he added. He termed the government attitude as insult of the parliament
