Belfast: Ireland scored 96 runs all out in the 20th over of 38 over match in the first match of two matches against Pakistan at Civil Service Cricket Club, Belfast, on Saturday.
Pakistani pacer Junaid Khan got four wickets while spinner Saeed Amal grabbed three wickets. Umar Gul, Tanvir Ahmed and Younus Khan shared one wicket each.
Paul Stirling scored 39 runs, while Kevin O’Brien 15 and Gray Wilson scored 11 runs, respectively.
Pakistani skipper Misbah-ul-Haq won the toss and chose to bat first.
It is pertinent to mention here that the match was first reduced to 38 overs due to rain and later Pakistan was given a target of 93 runs in 33.3 overs.
