Rawalpindi: Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani met with the US Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Admiral Mike Mullen on Friday.
Chief of Army Staff Gen. Kayani told Admiral Mike Mullen that cooperation between the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) would only exist on equality basis.
General Kayani told Admiral Mullen about the reservations regarding the Abbottabad operation and informed him about the unanimous resolution passed by the parliament of Pakistan.
The Army Chief also told Mullen that the US would not carry out any high value target operation in Pakistan. Instead the US would only provide information and Pakistan would carry out the operation.
