Muzaffarabad: A passenger bus carrying 50 people on board plunged into Neelum river near Muzaffarabad city of Azad Kashmir on Friday.
Sources said that 25 bodies were recovered while rest of the people was still missing.
Police and rescue workers rushed to the spot after receiving information about the incident and started relief activities.
The sources in the area told that the ill-fated bus was heading toward a suburban area when it plunged into the river in1000 feet depth near Changa area.
Rescue workers were facing difficulties in relief activities as the area is located in the mountainous region.
They said that recoverd bodies have been shifted to nearby hospitals for identification while the search operation was still under way to recover the missing passengers.
