Islamabad: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Tuesday while referring to the Abbotabad operation said that non-democratic elements were trying to divert attention of the government from continuing development of the country and betterment of its masses.
The prime minister while talking to parliamentarians who called on him at his Parliament House Chamber, reiterated the government’s commitment to continue development schemes despite financial crunch.
Gilani observed that the government was focusing on early completion of ongoing infrastructure projects.
The development of education and health sectors, he added, is the government’s top priority and asked the parliamentarians to personally monitor these schemes.
Referring to the energy crisis, the Prime Minister said the government was taking all measures to solve this issue taking along all stake holders.
During the recent France visit, he added, the French investors agreed to invest in Pakistan’s energy sector under joint Business Council to be set up by both the countries.
The parliamentarians lauded the policy statement of the Prime Minister in National Assembly yesterday and termed the response of the government true representation of the will of nation.
Jan Muhammad Jamali, Deputy Chairman Senate and Changez Jamali, MNA invited the Prime Minister to inaugurate 220 KV grid Station in Balochistan.
