Pakistan’s information minister has advised politicians in the country to stop politics over the Abbottabad operation.
Firdous Ashiq Awan told reporters in Islamabad that politicians must think of the country’s interests this time.
The minister said the ruling party would take the nation and the parliament into confidence over this operation.
She said the President and the Prime Minister would not resign over the operation. “Did anyone resign after the Kargil debacle,” she said.
