Washington: US State Department has said that Pakistan is determinant to combat war against terror despite several questions being raised over the hideaway of Al Qaeda Leader Osama Bin Laden in Abottabad area of Pakistan.
Spokesman of the State Department Mark Toner said that both the US and Pakistan have strong reservations over the presence of Bin Laden in Pakistan.
He said thousands of Pakistanis have lost their lives in war against terrorism. He said Al Qaeda has been pressed owing to Pakistan’s assistance.
The purpose of Afghan war is to clean the country from Al Qaeda, the spokesman added that cooperation with Pakistan in war on terror is in the larger interest of the US.
