During an exclusive chat with The News Tribe, Zakki, who has the distinction of being the first Ph. D scholar in Business Administration from Karachi University, advised the youths to overcome the growing tendency of searching short cuts for success, saying that they should acquire objective and purpose-oriented education and develop steadfastness in them to turn around the situation of the country and change its destiny.
“About 60 per cent population of the country comprise youths, and if they adapted them as per the demands of the situation, they could turned around the destiny of the country within no time,” he opined.
Zakki said that KUBC in league with international universities is planning to launch website with the aim to share latest knowledge and informations.
Dr. Zakki is currently busy in finalization of arrangements for KUBS’s annual corporate dinner and launching of Graduate Directory 2011 of the school.
To question about the perception that outdated syllabus are being taught in educational institutions of the country, he said that KUBS updated its syllabus as per market’s demand. “As fixed syllabus proves unfruitful, hence KUBS keeps updating and changing its syllabus as per the latest innovation and developments in the filed and changing demands of the market and industry,” he added.
