Karachi: Police have claimed to arrest a target killer in Karachi, the financial hub of Pakistan, and recovered arms from his possession on late Sunday night, said police official.
Superintendent of Police Officer (SPO) New Karachi has said that the target killer Waqas Ahmed has been arrested from Khawaja Ajmer Nagri during a raid. Police have also recovered a TT pistol from his possession, he added.
He said Waqas Ahmed during investigation told police said that he was involved in the killing of six Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) activists who were killed in Orangi Town and Mehmoodabad.
Police said Waqas was belonged to Mahajir Qaumi Movement-Haqiqi (MQM-H) of Afaq Ahmed’s fiction. Raids are being carried out for the arrest of Ahmed aides, the police said.
