Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s selection committee is likely to announce national team for West Indies tour today (Wednesday) which is going to be start from April 18.
It is expected that some senior players including Younis Khan, Abdul Razzak, Umer Gul and Kamran Akmal would be given rest for the tour.
Misbah-ul-Haq is likely to be test captain of the Pakistan team while, all rounder Shahid Khan Afridi would be one day and Twenty-20 captain.
Intikhab Alam would remain manager of the team, while Waqar Younis and Aaqib Javed would also remain team coach and bowling coach, respectively.
PCB wanted to give chances to young players as Afridi and Waqar suggested that new blood would be given chance in the national team.
