Islamabad: Sindh Home Minister Zulfiqar Mirza has said that all the members of Sindh Assembly would offer their volunteer arrests if the Supreme Court issued arrest orders of Sharjeel Memon and Taj Haider in contempt of court case.
In his fiery speech outside the Supreme Court, Mirza said that Sindhis should not be treated like Bengalis as the Sindh Assembly was the first to approve a resolution in favour of Pakistan.
Mirza said that injustices with Sindh should be stopped. On a question, he said that why the Supreme Court did not take suo moto notice over targeted killings in Karachi.
He said that the PPP had observed strike on behalf of people of Sindh.  Replying to a query, he said that appointment of Deedar Shah as NAB chairman was legal as his career as a judge had been transparent.
Mirza said that all the members of the provincial assembly came to show solidarity withe their colleagues.
