The director general of Pakistan’s top intelligence agency is to get another extension in service, it was revealed on Saturday. Defence Minister Ahmad Mukhtar told reporters in Islamabad that Gen Shuja Pasha would be given another extension. But he refused to reveal how much extension would be given. He said the extension would be only as much as is required.
Pasha was appointed head of the agency in Oct 2008 and got an extension in March 2010 when he reached superannuation.
