Karachi: Anti Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) of Sindh Police arrested an Interpol wanted absconder from Karachi on Wednesday evening, FIA sources said.
The absconder, Feroz Alam, was arrested from Northern Bypass, Karachi.
He was first arrested from Bangkok in a fraud case of Rs 25 million in Dubai and presented before a court. The court awarded him three-year sentence. The accused escaped from Dubai to Karachi after getting released on bail.
The sources said that the absconder was working as a contractor in Dubai. He owns a textile mill in Karachi, the sources said.
