Islamabad: Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Malik called on Muttahjida Qaumi Movement (MQM) representatives on Tuesday evening to resolve their reservations, but failed to convince them this time and was said good bye.
MQM members cleared Malik that they would not discuss the issue with him and would present their reservations regarding Mirza’s speech in front of President Asif Ali Zardari.
MQM’s Babr Ghauri said that Rehman Malik has been informed that MQM is ready for talk with the president, just waiting for the response.
Sources said that the meeting is expected at 9:45 pm (local time).
