Jhang: At least three people have been killed and 30 others wounded in a collision between two buses in Jhang district of Punjab, the eastern province of Pakistan, on late Tuesday night, rescue sources said.
Rescue sources said that the incident took place near Bhakhar bypass when a speeding bus hit another bus while overtaking. As a result, three passengers died on the spot, while 30 others received injuries, out of them various are stated to be in critical condition, The News Tribe correspondent reported.
Both the buses were moving towards Jhang to Bhakhar.
The bodies and injured were rushed to District Headquarter Hospital for treatment and autopsy.
The number of causalities may further rise because several injured are serious.
