Peshawar: Four US drone attacks in South Waziristan, a tribal area of Pakistan, have left at least six people dead and several others wounded, government officials said.
According to the sources, US drones fired four missiles in Kashaz Penga area of Azam Warsak in South Waziristan. As a result, six people died on the spot while many others sustained injuries.
These were the first US drone attacks since January 23. The drone attacks had stopped following the arrest of Raymond Davis, accused of killing two Pakistanis on January 27.
