London: Four children have been killed in a house fire in Derbyshire police said on Tuesday.Rescuers were called to the house in Hulland Ward near Ashbourne shortly before midnight on Monday.
The four children, two girls, aged six and two, and two boys, aged nine and four, killed in the blaze.
A 45-year-old woman was shifted to the Royal Derby Hospital suffering from smoke inhalation.
“At this stage there is no obvious sign of what caused the fire and a joint investigation between Derbyshire Constabulary and Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service will get under way later this morning,” police said in a statement.
