Karachi: The Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC)’s 4500 sacked employees have been restored after four days long demonstration on Sunday night.
A nine-member committee set up by the government has resolved the issue by deliberations with the KESC administration.
Federal Minister for Power and Energy Raja Pervaiz Ashraf announced the restoration of the employees and appreciated the decision of the KESC administration.
He appreciated the efforts of provincial committee for the restoration of the employees. He said to the KESC employees to rejoin their offices from Tuesday.
President and Prime Minister of Pakistan appreciated the decision of reinstatement of the KESC employees.
