Muzaffargarh: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Monday said that the blasphemy laws should not be made an issue.
Addressing a public meeting here, he said that the blasphemy laws were not being changed. However, he added, the laws should not be misused by anyone.
The prime minister said that the biggest problem being faced by the country was terrorism and law and order situation.
Enumerating his government achievements, Gilani said that the PPP-led government restored 1973’s Constitution in its original shape.
He said the country was facing multi dimensional challenges and problems and if PPP-led government could not solved these then no one can do.
He hailed the people of the area for bravely facing the challenges emanated after the last year devastating floods.
On the occasion, the PM issued directives for repairing Dera Ghazi Khan road.
