ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday telephoned Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief NAwaz Sharif, Awami National Party (ANP) chief Asfandyar Wali Khan and Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain to take them into confidence regarding his upcoming visit to the United States.
It is to be mentioned here that the president will leave for US on a 4-day visit on Thursday.
During his visit he will attend the memorial service of Richard Holbrooke, the US special representative for Pakistan and Afghanistan, who passed away last month.
During his telephonic conversation, the president discussed his upcoming visit to US with the political leadership of the country and took them into confidence.
