Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said that he would neither save the government’s sinking boat nor become part of it.
He was addressing a press conference following the Central Executive Committee meeting in Lahore on Wednesday.
Shujaat said that he was not that simple to fall victim to the government’ tricks, adding his party had supported the PPP government at the behest of Pervez Musharraf.
He stressed to make a new law to prevent misuse of the blasphemy law instead of repealing the existing law, adding that all the political forces in and out side the parliament should unite to discuss the matter.
Meanwhile, PML (like-minded) chief Saleem Saifullah has said that his party would back the PML-N if it moves no-confidence motion in parliament.
