Brisbane: An area larger than France and Germany have been inundated in Australia due to disastrous floods, news agencies reported
Reports stated that at least 20 towns in north eastern state of the Australian continent Queensland have been flooded affecting more than 200,000 people, adding that floodwater has been submerging Australian city of Rockhampton, home to 70,000.
Authorities confirmed that three deaths caused by the floods, were reported in the past few days.
Military aircraft are providing relief supplies in the Australian city of Rockhampton, where rising floodwaters have cut off all routes.
Officials have said that the crisis could last another month.
