BRADFORD: A Pakistan International Airline (PIA) pilot, who was arrested on Thursday in United Kingdom, has confessed of drinking while the plane was ready to fly.
Irfan Mahmud Faiz accepted the allegation leveled against him of drinking in the local court, the local authorities said.
The court has given the remand of the PIA pilot till Oct 18 to the local police.
PIA Pilot revealed drinking before flying plane on September 20.
The aviation laws forbid to drink before or during the flight for pilots.
The judge of the Leeds court asked Irfan ‘why he had endangered lives of 180 people on board besides himself?’
Seems to having no answer for the judge, Faiz just bent his head and kept his silence in the court.
