Karachi: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has convened meeting of its coordination committee in Karachi and London in the wake of AJK Elcection Commission’s notification to postpone election in Karachi constituencies of LA-30 and 36.
According to the reported the MQM has condemned the government’s bias attitude in AJK election. Sources said that the Karachi based party is expected to come hard on the AJK’s Election Commission’s decision taken on the orders of AJK High Court. IG Sindh Wajid Durrani had filed an application in the court, seeking orders to postpone election on Karachi constituencies due to worsening law and order situation in the metropolis.
The MQM also staged walk-out in Sindh Assembly in protest against the postponement of election.
