ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued a notification declaring Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq de-notified.
ECP on Monday released notification to de-notify Ayaz Sadiq and declared NA-122 vacant.
As Murtaza Javed Abbasi becomes acting speaker National Assembly.
Election tribunal has ordered to hold by polls in NA-122, however date of re-election has not been announced yet.
Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf has decided to field Chadhary Sarwer to contest in by-elections, while PML-N has not confirmed if Ayaz Sadiq or any other candidate will contest in re-elections.
