Riyadh: Pakistan has defeated its traditional rival India in the Asian snooker championship taking place in Saudi Arabia.
According to news agencies, India faced a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Pakistan in the Asian 15-Red Team Snooker Championship (ACBS). The Pakistani team, consisting of national cueists Asjad Iqbal and Awais Ullah Munir, easily overcame India in the quarter-finals.
The Pakistani victorious team won the first frame 35-63, followed by a 22-75 victory in the next frame, and completely dominated the third frame with a 06-70 win.
It is noteworthy that Pakistan will face Hong Kong in the semi-finals of the Asian 15-Red Team Snooker Championship.
