On Thursday morning, the upward trend in the Pakistan Stock Exchange continued. This trend was also observed during the early trading hours on Wednesday when the KSE-100 benchmark index saw an increase of over 500 points.
A similar surge occurred on Thursday. During the initial trading period, the benchmark 100 Index saw an increase of over 500 points.
The bullish trading on Thursday pushed the benchmark 100 Index to the 80,800 mark. The stability in the share prices of most business entities is evident, further boosting investor confidence.
There are several reasons for the strong investor confidence. The government has prepared the budget in line with IMF conditions, significantly paving the way for new loans. The anticipated disruptions resulting from the budget have not materialized so far. Additionally, the government has retracted a few announcements.
