Larkana: A large number of people, including women and children thronged the venue of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz public meeting in Larkana, hometown of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and stronghold of the Pakistan People’s Party as Mian Nawaz Sharif arrived here on Saturday in a bid to win political support in the province.
Sharif was welcomed by the crowed, chanting slogans of, Pakistan ZInda Bad, and holding national flags.
Political commentators are giving great importance to the PML-N Larkana rally, especially in the wake of memogate scandal as some PPP leaders appeared to be users of Sindh card at the crux of the issue related to national security.
Nawaz is scheduled to visit Garhi Khuda Bux to offer Fateha on the Mausoleum of Bhuttos, including Benazir Bhutto and Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.
