Islamabad: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has disclosed that only three days remain to file income tax returns, and so far, the number of filers has exceeded 2.585 million.
Media sources report that the FBR expects a further increase in the number of people filing returns by the September 30 deadline. The deadline for filing tax returns will not be extended.
The data indicates that 6.086 million individuals filed returns in tax year 2023. Since July 1, 2023, 844,777 new individuals have registered.
