Three Children Drown in Rainwater in Islamabad

Islamabad: Three children (siblings) tragically drowned in stagnant rainwater in the Tarnol area of the federal capital, Islamabad.

The unfortunate incident occurred in Tarnol, where three children were playing in rain water near their house in Chungi No 26, when the young boy slipped and fell into standing rainwater. In an attempt to save him, his two sisters jumped into the water. The victims have been identified as 10-year-old Gul Tareen, 7-year-old Hajra Bibi, and 9-year-old Farqina.

Rescue sources reported that the bodies of all three children were recovered from the water and transported to PIMS Hospital.
