New Delhi: In the Indian state of Haryana, cow vigilantes, who monitor the sale and smuggling of cattle, killed a Hindu youth on suspicion of cattle smuggling.
Aryan Mishra, a resident of Haryana, was chased for 25 kilometers and brutally beaten to death by Hindu extremists. The 12th-grade student, Aryan Mishra, was suspected by these extremists of smuggling cows and selling them to Muslim butchers.
The 19-year-old Aryan was out with his friends Harshit and Shanky on the night of August 23 to eat noodles in their car. During this time, rumors spread in the city (Faridabad) that some people in cars were surveying cows in the city to smuggle and sell them. There were also rumors that smugglers had arranged for trucks to transport stray cows.
The police have arrested five individuals accused of Aryan Mishra’s murder and have registered a case against them.
