Rawalpindi: Pakistan Test team captain Shan Masood expressed deep regret over the historic whitewash by Bangladesh in the series.
According to the report, Bangladesh defeated the national team in both matches played in Rawalpindi, winning the series 0-2. This marks only the second time in Pakistan’s history that they have lost a Test series on home soil.
Speaking after the match, Shan Masood admitted that Pakistan made numerous mistakes during the series and acknowledged that Bangladesh played with more discipline.
He emphasized the importance of player fitness in Test cricket, noting that Pakistan’s team failed in this regard during the series.
Expressing disappointment in his team’s performance, Shan Masood described the defeat as a bitter experience and stressed the need to learn from it for the future.
