Rawalpindi: One prisoner was injured during a clash between inmates at Adiala Jail where Imran Khan is also imprisoned.
According to jail authorities, the altercation occurred three days ago on August 29 near the Chakkar Mosque. A case has been registered against prisoner Atish Hussain at the Saddar Behruni police station on the complaint of Assistant Superintendent Imran Shehzad.
The case details reveal that prisoner Atish Hussain, who is incarcerated in a murder case, fought with inmate Anjum. Atish Hussain inflicted injuries to Anjum’s neck, head, and shoulder with a makeshift cutter.
The injured prisoner has undergone a medical examination. Chief Warder Nawab Khan and Warder Riaz Iqbal are witnesses to the incident.
