Heavy Rainfall in Various Cities of Pakistan, Low-Lying Areas Flooded

Monsoon heavy rains continue across various cities in Pakistan, resulting in the flooding of low-lying areas.

According to reports, Karachi has been drenched by a powerful monsoon spell, causing widespread flooding. Areas such as Old City, Tower, M.A. Jinnah Road, Saddar, Guru Mandir, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Jail Chowrangi, Liaquatabad, Karimabad, Safoora, North Karachi, and Nazimabad have been particularly affected by the heavy rainfall.

Meanwhile, in other districts of Sindh, including Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Matiari, Badin, Golarchi, and Thatta, heavy rains have led to water accumulation in low-lying areas. In the village of Hashim Kaloi in Thatta, 40 mud houses collapsed due to the rain. Nawabshah and Sanghar have also experienced intermittent rainfall.
