Major General Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Army, stated that Ismail Haniyeh’s martyrdom will not be forgotten and that revenge for this crime is inevitable.
According to a report, Major General Bagheri emphasized that Iran will carefully determine the method and timing of its response. He added that Iran will not fall prey to media games and provocations, and that the resistance forces will retaliate based on their capabilities and assessments. He stressed that a response against Israel is unavoidable.
General Bagheri also mentioned that the resistance forces will retaliate on their own terms, as witnessed yesterday when Hezbollah launched over 300 rocket and drone attacks against Israel from Lebanon.
