Karachi: The Meteorological Department has forecasted that Karachi, the city of lights, may experience 200 millimeters of rain.
According to the report, there is a risk of urban flooding in Karachi due to this expected 200 millimeters of rainfall. Heavy rains are also anticipated across Sindh, including Karachi, on August 31.
The Meteorological Department further stated that a low-pressure system originating from the Bay of Bengal has intensified into a depression. Under this system, powerful monsoon winds will affect southeastern Sindh.
The department also mentioned that Karachi may receive 150 to 200 millimeters of rain, while the regions of Thatta and Badin could experience 300 to 400 millimeters of rainfall.
