Tehran: Iranian Revolutionary Guards’ Deputy Commander Ali Fadavi has issued a statement regarding the recent Israeli attack on Iranian soil, which resulted in the death of Ismail Haniyeh. Fadavi asserted that Iran will choose an appropriate time to retaliate against Israel for Haniyeh’s martyrdom.
According to foreign media reports, Deputy Commander Fadavi declared that the brutal and oppressive Israeli government, responsible for the killing of innocent children in Gaza, and martyred Ismail Haniyeh on Iranian soil.
Additionally, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Nasser Kanaani clarified in a briefing that the ceasefire in Gaza has no connection to Iran’s response to Israel. He emphasized that the ceasefire is a global demand, as the ongoing massacre of Palestinian Muslims, which has lasted over 10 months, must end.
Kanaani expressed shock, stating that the anti-Islam and anti-Muslim Israeli regime targeted their guest on Iranian soil in a terrorist attack. He noted that Ismail Haniyeh was regarded as a key leader in efforts to secure a ceasefire in Gaza.
