According to reports, the tremors were felt in areas including Jehlum Valley, Hattian Bala, Azad Kashmir, Chanar, Chakothi, Bagh district, Poonch, and Haveli.
The earthquake’s epicenter was in the region of Indian-occupied Kashmir, approximately 11 kilometers from Srinagar, with a magnitude of 4.6 on the Richter scale.
In Hattian Bala, the earthquake woke up sleeping residents, who then rushed out of their homes in fear.
Reports indicate that two tremors were felt in Muzaffarabad, the first at 6:16 PM and the second at 6:23 PM.
The earthquake temporarily disrupted internet service in Muzaffarabad. Additionally, tremors were also felt in Swat, Skardu, and nearby areas.
