Khartoum: The Sudanese government has accused the paramilitary group RSF of attacking a village and killing 86 people. The RSF is frequently accused by the government of mass killings.
Since April last year, civil war has resumed in Sudan, with organized attacks and incidents of mass killings occurring regularly across the country.
Eyewitnesses reported that RSF militants entered the village and began indiscriminate firing. The unarmed villagers were not in a position to confront them. The brutality of the RSF affected women and children among the victims.
The Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that over 150 people were injured due to the militants’ gunfire. The militants also looted the village and set several homes on fire.
