Another Murder Case Filed Against Hasina Wazed and 15 Former High Officials of Her Government

Dhaka: A new murder case has been filed against former Bangladeshi Prime Minister Hasina Wazed, who fled the country after resigning, along with 15 high-ranking officials from her administration.

According to international news agencies, in addition to Hasina Wajid, 11 top officials from her government, including the ministers of transport, defense, and foreign affairs, have been named in the new murder case. The case pertains to the death of a rickshaw driver who was killed due to indiscriminate police firing during student protests.

Since the fall of Hasina Wazed’s government, a total of five cases have been registered against her, three of which are murder cases. Additionally, a murder case is also ongoing in the International Crimes Tribunal, where investigations have already begun.

It is worth noting that following the student protests and the subsequent overthrow of her government, Hasina Wazed resigned and fled to India, where she remains while awaiting departure to another country. However, the United States and the United Kingdom have refused to grant her asylum, and India is also reluctant to host her for an extended period.
