Israel Kills Over 40,000 Palestinians in Gaza Since October 7

Gaza City: The death toll in Gaza has surpassed 40,000 as Israel’s military campaign in the region intensifies, according to the latest figures from Gaza’s Health Ministry. The ongoing Israeli war has left 92,401 people wounded, with a significant portion of the casualties being women, children, and the elderly.

The Health Ministry’s report reveals that 33 percent of those killed—more than 16,456—were children, while 18.4 percent, or 11,088, were women. Elderly victims account for 8.6 percent of the total deaths.

The situation in Gaza continues to deteriorate, with Israeli military forces launching extensive airstrikes and artillery attacks across the Palestinian territory. In the southern Gaza Strip, Hamad City and residential buildings in Khan Younis have been heavily targeted.

In a separate incident, three Palestinians were killed in a dawn airstrike on the Sabra neighborhood in Gaza City, where Israeli warplanes struck a house belonging to the Khaziq family and shelled the nearby Islamic complex.

The Israeli war has also spilled over into the occupied West Bank. Today, two Palestinians were killed in an Israeli drone attack on the Balata refugee camp, adding to the escalating death toll in the region.

The Palestinian Health Ministry reported that the total number of Palestinians killed in the occupied West Bank since October 7 now stands at 632, including 142 children, nine women, and seven elderly people.
